The arts community at Quinnipiac University needed to be further recognized and supported in order to inform students about their work and issues that they face. Under my leadership of the university’s Student Artists League, we launched a new campus magazine – The Heartbeat – which focuses specifically on arts and culture journalism and opinion pieces.
